Nautical by Nature

I used a 2.5" circle punch for the card front and the patterned paper (from K&Co. Seaglass paperpad). All the stamps are from Papertrey Ink's Guiding Light. The sailboat is stamped in Versamark with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The sails are stamped with Classic Kraft and Pure Poppy inks. The gulls are stamped with Soft Stone. I used some grid washi tape for the "sea".

The idea started out with Danielle Flander's Make It Monday #215: Bringing the Inside Out,  CAS-ology's cue card is Nautical and Simon Says is Anything Goes

Gorgeous card :-) I love the nautical theme and CAS design, the papers and aperture are FAB and I love the stamped birds too, at first I thought they were embossed, they look 3D and I had to enlarge for a closer look :-) absolutely fabulous design! :-)

Yes, I did exactly what Lorraine did, and zoomed in to take a closer look at all your amazing handiwork. Love those birds - I also thought they were dry-embossed, and washi tape sea? That's inspired! I love the shadowing you've created with the sails. Love the appearance of dimension achieved through clever and considered layout, and all so beautifully CAS. Super card! Love it!
